Who are you? My profile, written by Dolores Finnegan, member of The Writers' Workshop of Delaware County, PA:
J.C. Morris, a freelance writer who has two non-fiction bestsellers and countless articles, was born in Montreal. A nomadic life in formative years combined with her worldwide travels as a military wife provided rich threads for future tapestries. From her education, begun in a one room school house, through to study at the Sorbonne, Morris's learning continued throughout a lifetime. Her writings, even her mysteries and legal thrillers, are all based on solid research. Her prose is akin that last steep drop on a roller coaster, as her characters grapple with the ups and downs of life in London, Paris, and New York during the 20th century.
What have you done lately? My latest novel is a mystery called A Killing in Real Estate. My historical novel, The End of Arrogance appeared on April 15, 2005, to coincide with the anniversary of the Titanic disaster. The sinking of the Titanic is symbolic of the decline of inherited privilege, which in the The End of Arrogance brings down a whole way of life. To read more about the novel click REVIEWS.
